Directive 1 5 Minute Ruling: If all players commit to playing the match for a period of longer than 5 minutes under lag conditions then all players are considered committed to finishing the match. At any time after 5 minutes a player quits under any conditions he forfeits the match to the opposing team unless a teammate(s) during team play decide to stay and finish the match. At any time during the first 5 minutes of each match every player has the option if quitting the match for lag or slow play conditions only and has the option of rescheduling the match at a time agreed upon by all players, or forfeiting the match alltogether. Under extreme circumstances when comminication is lost during gameplay all teams must re-schedule the match to complete. Scores during incomplete matches are void. - Rules of Engagement

Directive 2 Online Score Reporting Each Registered clan must have a way to digitally re-produce the score and send it via email. Any member of clan, regardless of rank, stature or identity can be listed as official tourney clan reporter and should be as such on Tourney registration form. Additional Scoring rules apply as follows: - Online Event Scorekeeping

  • Any individual using multiple accounts for event/contest play on one title during any one tournament month to elevate individual ranks is disqualified
  • Sabotaging Internet connection between yourself and another player to prevent or force a loss is forbidden
  • Use of cheats, hacks, mods, trainers, etc. are not allowed. Arranging losses or wins with another plplayer is not permitted
  • Any other tournament practice the contest coordination staff deems unfair will be cause for disqualification. Clanmembers may not play a individual tournament counted game against each other.
  • When the rules are violated we will take the following action. Disqualification from current event and future AN Events
  • NO SHOWS: In the case of No Shows, the team or clan who has actively participated in the challeneg process and who stays aware of the current event status will be advanced to the next round. In the case where both teams fail to show or complete their matches by the allotted time will be drawn randomly to advance to the next round. At times, supporting documentation in the form of Emails may be submitted for proof of forfiet
  • NO-CONTEST STATUS: In the Case of Two or More No Shows in a single event by team or teams vs. a present and advancing team, the present team agrees to Post No-Show Status or report no shows to XbN Adnistration or on the XbN/WgA League Site. In an Event with Four Rounds the Maximum Number of No Show that a team can claim for advancment is 2. If the Present Team does not participate in at least two macthes in the current event then Present Team Agrees to Hold Over the Prizes for the Next Event and Report No-Contest Status . Upon Notification of No Show Status, a total of 4 Points and a 10/0 score will be reported for each match for statistical purposes. Present team will have first priority over entrance into the Next Event and will be Automatically added to the next Event upon notification of No- Contest Status.
Directive 3 Substitutions At no time during Tournament play will there be any teammate/player substitutions due to any reason unless that substitute is listed on enrty form. - Rules of Engagement

Directive 4 Team Match Play During tournaments it has been decided that the final round, in any type of tournament regardless of round or number of people playing, will be a best of three match elimination to help even the field as far as lag/ping issues are concerned. In special cases or if tournament staff decides there will be two (2) Battles per match and the team with the highest score at the end of the 2 battles will makup the final score for that match and for the win. Each team in that particular match will host one battle and each team is responsible for posting to the tourney statician the scores of each battle via Email (Stratafox - xboxrox2000@hotmail.com and to Halo Teacher - ecs1b@hotmail.com for confirmation purposes) to confirm the final outcome of each match. If it is decided to schedule tourney as 2 battle matches, then the final match will 2 matches as well with the team having the highest final as winner - Tournament Structure

Directive 5 At no time shall any AN Online or Local Tournament registered entrant publish, which includes email, personal messaging, chat and instant messaging, any libelous, profane or derougatory remarks about other individuals, within the tournament structure and or the tournament itself. If there are disputes regarding tournament related issues the tournament director will act as moderator and the tournament directors decision will become final. Each person(s) involved will get the opportunity to voice any concerns or issue in an open forum and then all facts taken into account a final decision will be rendered. - Tournament Structure

Directive 6 Challenges and Alloted Times All challenges are considered open invitations to participate in online gaming for leagues, ladder events, tournaments and other private and public events.Open Local events and lan partties are eligible for stats recording on a local level only and account for 33% of the overall AN Member ranking.

  • AN Member Match Play The Receiver of a challenge has a period of 48 hours to respond to the challenge. If reciever does not respond to the challenge within 48 hours no credit will be given for ladder ranks, stats maintenance and the challenge will be null and void.
  • XbN Member Events During Organized Event Play, it is the Individual clans responsibility to keep up to date on current standing during the actual time allotted for play. This applies to all AN Events
  • - Match Play - Local Events

Directive 7 Member Participation Members and memebr clans who have expressed interest in Events and are placed in brackets for competition are at least required to contact opponent clan or member of the event entered into, to communicate time and date of play or forfiet if team decides it cant play for any reason. This is needed to guarentee a fair and worthwhile contest for the member clans. An AN Member or Clan that fails three (3) times to comminicate with opponent or AN Admin during the competition will be removed from that competition. Any time a member or clan does not show up or communicate with opposing team on a regular basis will be removed from the AN membership and not placed in any additional or future events. All removals are at the sole dicsrection of the AN Admin and cannot be challenged although after review a team that has been removed from the General Membership can re-register for these events and the AN clan Membership. A vote will be take n from all of the clans and members to allow re-entry. - Clan Activity/Participation
